Samples
See the wood before you commit
Photos are not a product. A sample tells you the weight, the finish, the size in a child's hand and whether the packaging survives a courier.
Sample policy
| Stock sample | Sample cost + freight, dispatched in 3–7 working days |
|---|---|
| Custom sample | Sample fee + freight, 7–15 days depending on the build |
| Credit | Sample and freight cost credited against your first bulk order |
| Courier | DHL, FedEx or UPS; your account number is welcome |
| Payment | PayPal, card or a T/T transfer — no bulk deposit required |
We keep sample stock of the best-selling items. For the rest, the sample is built from the same line as the bulk order, which is why it takes a few days longer — and why what you approve is what you get.
Check these five things when it arrives
- Weight and balance — does it feel like a gift, or like a shipping error?
- Edges — run a thumb around every radius. They should feel rounded, not sanded flat.
- Hardware — pull every wheel, knob, hinge and bead. Nothing should shift.
- Colour under your shop lights — water-based paint reads warmer than lacquer.
- Packaging — the box is what the customer photographs. Check the barcode and warnings now, not later.
